-Tabetha Vagliviello

Tabetha Vagliviello

Midland Dance Studio Director Ballet/Fitness/Bellydance/Childrens Yoga

For the last 20+ Years I have been studying a variety of dance styles, safe dance techniques and fitness/personal training ideology’s. My passion is not only my family and own personal dance journey it is being able to be a part of my students journey young and old and having the privilege to inspire them to strive towards their dreams.

I began my classical ballet and theatrical dance studies when I turned 4yrs old commencing with ballet, I continued my studies with Fiona Oliver (Who studied under Terri Charlesworth, Madam Kira Bousloff to name a few) for the next 10+ years.  Together we created the Balletbarre syllabus an elite safe dance training method of ballet.

In 2010 I performed with WA Dance Company and Zahara Dance Company in a fusion presentation for Fringe Dark Fantasy.

I Qualified as a personal Trainer in 2001 and worked throughout the state, specialising in ladies fitness, injury rehabilitation, pre/postnatal pregnancy and weight loss. I developed Dance2fit as I love to dance but also need to exercise and do not enjoy going to the gym.

2002 to Present,  I found a new passion BELLYDANCE, with Belyssa from the Belyssa Academy of Dance Orientale. Training with Belyssa’s 30 years of dance experience and research has given me diversity and a broad knowledge of Middle Eastern Dance and culture.

I then continued my own studies in Middle Eastern Dance by attending training & workshops with the likes of Liza Laziza, Tito and Kazafy, Randa Kamel, Hossam Abdel Ghany, Farida Fahmy (to name a few) all from Egypt, Jillina Carlino (Bellydance Evolution) Ozgen (Turkish Romany International sensation) Rose Ottiviano, Alma Sarhan, Jrisi, Lorna of Cairo and many more.  I founded Zahara Dance Company and Lastly have performed throughout the state, Nationally and Internationally.

Midland Dance Studios (MDS) opened in 2014, it is my honour to share my knowledge and skills with the next generation of dancers.  Our goal is to create a positive and happy experience for all of our students. We strive to nurture and develop talent, celebrate the achievements of all students and inspire a love and appreciation of all styles of dance and the arts.

I am committed to providing a safe and positive environment in which all students can feel empowered, comfortable and free to express themselves and follow their dreams to be the best they can be….
